Triad Arts Ensemble is partnering with two area churches for the 2024 Canticles for Life AIDS Benefit Concert to raise much-needed funds that will impact many lives. Proceeds raised will directly benefit three NJ organizations that support those impacted by HIV/AIDS and in memory of those lost to the disease, as well as raise awareness, dispel ignorance and help to shine compassion.
Canticles Chairperson Ginny Johnston will conduct the 30-voice Triad Vocal Ensemble, which will feature a mix of styles including traditional anthems, pop arrangements, and brand new works. The Dan Crisci Jazz Trio will offer several instrumental songs, including original selections from Dan’s recent recordings. Rounding out the program will be Abbie Gardner, award-winning singer-songwriter/dobro player. Additionally, panels from the AIDS Memorial Quilt will be on display, and there will be a time of reflection and sharing by representatives from the charities. Reception to follow each concert.
