Harmonium – Rooted in Eternity

Canticles for Life
Triad Arts Ensemble is partnering with two area churches for the 2026 Canticles for Life AIDS Benefit Concert to raise much-needed funds that will impact many lives. Proceeds raised will directly benefit three NJ organizations that support those impacted by HIV/AIDS and in memory of those lost to the disease, as well as raise awareness, dispel ignorance and help to shine compassion.
Canticles Chairperson Ginny Johnston will conduct the 30-voice Triad Vocal Ensemble, which will feature a mix of styles including traditional anthems, pop arrangements, and brand new works. The Dan Crisci Jazz Trio will offer several instrumental songs, including original selections from Dan’s recent recordings. Rounding out the program will be the genre-bending folk trio Mad Agnes. Additionally, panels from the AIDS Memorial Quilt will be on display, and there will be a time of reflection and sharing by representatives from the charities. Reception to follow each concert.
Annual Spring Concert – Maplewood Concert Band
Ginny will be conducting and playing clarinet. The program will feature a mix of pieces as we continue our “alphabet” of repertoire from titles from “H” to “P”! Selections include Brahms’ “Hungarian Dance No. 5”, the “Looney Tunes Overture” and a medley from the Broadway show “My Fair Lady”.

Harmonium – New Jersey Musical Mosaic
On Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 7pm at the Beacon Church in Summit Celebrate the extraordinary musical talent found right here in the Garden State. New Jersey Musical Mosaic is a collaborative concert event presented by The Discovery Orchestra, with Harmonium Choral Society’s Chamber Singers (of which Ginny is a part) and featuring performances and live insights from composers and musicians from New Jersey. The evening also includes special performances by renowned NJ composer and organist Mark Miller, who will play selections of his own work live. Audiences can expect not only beautiful music but also rich educational commentary from The Discovery Orchestra’s Maestro Maull that connects composer, context, and emotion.
